Chances are he will put you on an antidepressant. No worries though, its usually a very low dose. After about a month you will come in for a follow up and if the anti depressants didnt work then they will give you a drug like xanax! The doc will talk to you and prescribe a pill to try out and see how it works for you. But you are way better off seeing a therapist for this issues because they are usually more informed on natural ways to help with this problem as a doctor will just give you a pill and say see you in a month.
