How do you deal with a panic attack and is there anything you can do beside taking medication?

    It doesn’t happen to *everyone* but panic attacks aren’t uncommon. You can try deep breathing, meditation, and positive visualization.

    But, it would be best to get a checkup with a doctor anyway, just to rule out any physiological causes. Good luck.

    wow. thats insane.. i myself was just signed on looking for an answer on how to deal with panic attacks. i get them sometimes.. they drive me insane. i try to just talk to myself and tell myself tht everything is going to be alright. it usually works. talk to people. they can help u calm down and realize that there really isnt too much to worry about and that everything will be alright! u just have to believe in ureself, and realize that God or who ever you believe in has a plan for u no matter what, and whatevr happens happens for a reason.

    I used to have them so bad that I couldn’t go anywhere. Therapy can help. Learn to relax and focus on positive outcomes. Xanax is good too if you don’t run out.
