no issues with esteem. but it kept me from running-down-the-street-screaming.
I have anxiety, i am not sure what it is but it can make you tired, and the test say they increase the risk of suiside, but those tests are so not right! All I know is that it is small and green, and also that it works…
If you find that your social anxiety is still keeping you from enjoying your life, despite counselling, you should ask your doctor to prescribe an antidepressant such as Paxil, which is particularly good for that condition. I don’t like to recommend tranquilizers as they can be addictive. Paxil is well tolerated by most people and you will find that your mood will lift, which will relieve your anxiety. I would also like to invite you to attend a NAMI meeting, where you will meet others in your situation and make new friends.
Well..Sorry but those tests are right! They don’t lie! I’ve taken several meds for anxiety..and they make me too numb. Like I have no emotions or motivation. I think the best way to get over anxiety (which I’m happy to say that I have) Is to work from the inside out..instead of covering it up with a med only to have to deal with it later (when you get off the med). There are several programs that work..the one that worked for me was the Midwest Center program. Some people don’t like those cause you actually have to WORK at it and it takes a little while. If meds sound better to you..try it out..some people have amazing results. Don’t let other peoples horror stories scare you. You could even try both..that might be a sure shot!
