make some phone calls to some doctor’s and they can give you referrals to places who will help you free or on a sliding scale.

    Just get drunk.
Its the same effect you would get from medication and you can even enjoy it and pretend to be a social drinker.

Check with your local social services agency. They are there to help with these kinds of things and for ppl with limited or no income and need of medical services with no way to pay. If you qualify they will set you up for services and cover the cost. There should be a local phone # in your phone directory for social services in your area. Hope this helps… Good luck to you!
And I wouldn’t take advice from others to drink or do drugs to take care of your problem. This will only further complicate your life! Anyone with any common sense at all would know this. Just leave it to the professionals and you will do fine.

You don’t need medication to overcome such things if you have a strong enough will.

And the key to having a strong enough will is to believe without a shadow of a doubt that you have it. Its somewhat of a cyclic process… but a good start is to learn to assert yourself in your thoughts. When you make a decision to change some aspect of your life, you need to put aside your doubt and say to yourself “I WILL make that change, and I WILL succeed.” …
You can apply this to all kinds of situations… and once you become adept enough at manipulating your belief in such a way then you can turn it to fixing psychological problems. You just need to figure out what it means not to be depressed… what it means to be content with your life…. and then to step forward and take that state of being by the neck…. to allow no room for depression in your psyche.

    Often just smiling will help.

[Note: Much of this is related to the little trick referred to as Fabricated Self-Esteem...... i.e. deliberately asserting self-esteem in response to the knowledge that self-esteem controls health.]

I agree with the last answer you received, pot or alcohol is not the answer. Look in the directory for free help. People donate money for these kinds of cases all over the US. They donate to help people that cannot afford the high cost of doctors, and medication. You’ll have to research a little, but in the long run it will pay off….
Good luck, and don’t listen to the others.

This is very good blog, a beginner’s guide to abnormal psychology.
Short, clear and simple; and you can even post your question
