Rarely do i feel anxious socially, but when I do, my throat feels like it has a lump in it and is tight. Does anyone know how to get past these social anxiety problems and throat tightness?

The first step is to figure out what your triggers are…certain people, places, or actions. When you learn what triggers your anxiety then you can learn to deal with it. I would also suggest seeing a doctor if your symptoms worsen. Anxiety is a real disorder that affects many people around the globe. You are not alone. Email if you wish to continue this discussion. God bless.

    Hi Jake
It happens to me also. My Doc said to breath deep through my nose 4sec in 4sec hold 4sec exhale etc. It works for me. He said it gives more ox to the brain so it can think better. I do it before I go into and while I`m in a store etc, Try it.

    Hi Jake,

Sometimes it is not too easy to cure anxiety as it might have developed since long time ago in your life. Even there was a study that related anxiety creation with the problem experienced by the embryo when it was still in its mother’s womb.

The thing is that, you have o find the trigger(s). Read the articles in this website - There are some good links that you can download some good e-book too.I hope you can find your anxiety attack cure!
